This is a funny, bright story about self assurance. On his first day at kinder Jack decides to wear his super costume to make himself feel braver. He is such an energetic, helpful child that the other kids love him. But what will Jack do when his costume needs a wash? Will his new friends like him when he is just Jack?

I have exaggerated the emotion in my drawings to show Jack’s enthusiasm as well as his slowly increased anxiety. The messy costume illustrates how tactile and involved he is in activities...the main reason that the others children enjoy playing with him.  A story about being good enough just as you are.
